Rajput (Muslim traditions) in Pakistan
The name Rajput is derived from the Sanskrit word
rajputra, meaning son of a ruler. The Rajputra constitute a class of
nobility. The Rajput rose to political importance in the ninth and tenth
centuries. In India, the Rajput have been a ruling class which owned
