RIVERSIDE, CA (ANS – Feb. 10, 2015) -- After more than a year’s work, “Hope for Hurting Hearts” by Harvest Films, has been dubbed into the Turkish language.
“Partnering with FishFlix for
the dubbing, Harvest hopes to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ to
viewers in Turkey, a largely Muslim country, said a news release from
Harvest.
Jake Olson, Vice President of
FishFlix, says, “Having spent eight years of my life in Turkey and
having many relatives of Turkish background, I can attest to the fact
that there is a profound lack of hope and indeed many hurting hearts in
Turkey. I'm excited that Greg Laurie's message of ‘Hope for Hurting
Hearts’ will be available in Turkish.
“Here at www.FishFlix.com,
we believe that only faith in Jesus can bring hope to hurting hearts.
We’re excited to play a part in seeing this film translated into Turkish
because we know it points to Jesus!”
Plans are already underway for
the film to air on Turkish television, and for possible distribution of
the film via DVD and movie nights.
In “Hope for Hurting Hearts,”
Pastor Greg Laurie, Cathe Laurie, Nick Vujicic, and Jeremy Camp, each
tell their stories of traversing times of intense pain and tragedy, and
ultimately realizing the power of hope that is only found in a
relationship with Jesus Christ.
Originally filmed in English, the film has also been dubbed into Spanish.
