Spiritual Breakthrough in Burundi

This East African nation now enjoys political stability after a long history of internal conflict between the Hutu and Tutsi ethnic groups. Christian Aid Mission is working with an evangelistic ministry that holds open air crusades and operates a Bible school for the training of church leaders and missionaries. Its church-planting efforts have borne much fruit and even extend into neighboring Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of Congo. They have started 123 churches thus far and plan to establish more. The ministry also helps provide for the basic needs of some 400 orphans who are in the care of guardian families. Their goal is to eventually build an orphanage and school for the children. They need Bibles ($8) and bicycles ($150) for missionaries.
